It was really relaxed so I'm looking forward with great expectations to the next two rounds. Not too much effort was needed for 12.72 and that proves how fast is the track. Actually, it is my first competition in Japan.

I feel really good. It was a perfect race. In the last few meters, I slowed down a bit because I knew I was among the top three. But if I had known I was so close to the national record I'd have pushed harder. I've been doing athletics for ten years. I train in Turkey close to Antalya with coach Cuneyt Yutsel.

It was pretty fast, we had some weeks off so you never know what you can do in first race after some meet. But this was great, I am satisfied with the time because there is plenty of room to improve.

In the hurdles it is difficult to try to save energy in the rounds as you can do in the sprints. I feel in good shape and hope I have more to give. I didn't keep an eye on the others, just stayed focused on my own race.
