Torri EDWARDS USA
Felt relaxed enough. Looking forward to the finals.
Chandra STURRUP BAH
I felt really good and was not nervous. I started ok but then I did a step aside that got me out of the way. I tried to do something. Oh, I am very disapppointed. We do not have a relay, so at least I can get a good rest now before I will run at meetings in Linz and in China.
Sally MCLELLAN AUS
It's a bit annoying. I'm a competitor, so my race is disappointing. I felt great before, I think it's just fatigue. Looking back to it, I'm still 20 years old and made the world top 16. It's pretty exciting to be the first Australian in ten years to do that. Now I really want to do well in the hurdles and there's also the relay to come.
Christine ARRON FRA
Now, I just need to have a better start than this one. I absolutely need to reduce the gap with the other girls at start to set myself in better racing conditions.
Yevgeniya POLYAKOVA RUS
I'm so disappointed, I do not want to speak.
Tezdzhan NAIMOVA BUL
Not bad, but beeing so close to the finals makes it more hard. I had good preparation, but something small is missing. I think my better event is the 200 m, hopefully I make the finals there.
Mechelle LEWIS USA
Of course I wanted to make it to the finals. But I am not unhappy. I learned that I will run here only very recently, so took my chance. In Beijing I want to be in the finals.
