Novlene WILLIAMS JAM
I wanted to make it to the final. I just wanted to do it comfortable and tried to take control of the race. I made my race and I am happy about it. I hope to lower the time in the final. Now I go home, get some rest and get ready for Wednesday.

I am very satisfied with my race because I qualified - smoothly and relaxed. I followed my plan exactly and saved my power and energy. I let Novlene Williams run away - she is new in the championships and therefore wanted to push hard.

I think it was tough but I felt quite relaxed. I haven't been in such a good shape throughout the season, but it seems to have been a blessing in disguise. After running below 50 in a relay leg last year and getting close to it indoors, I knew I had that time in me. Two Brits in the semis making it to the world final, we haven't seen that in a long time.
