Flash Interviews: Women's 100 Metres Hurdles inal
Gold - Michelle PERRY, USA
It was an extremely difficult race, I rate it in top three most difficult ones in my career. I kept talking to myself that I can win this race and defend my title and stayed calm. First five hurdles were great, in the middle it was little shaky and I did my best after the 10th hurdle. My coach always believes in strong finishes. It was a close call. We waited for couple of minutes, I did not know who won. I was thinking am I second or third? Now I want to enjoy it. I still believe I can continue in winning mood this year and get the Golden League jackpot. For future maybe I can return to heptathlon and do both.Silver - Perdita FELICIEN, CAN
I couldn't have asked better for my 27th birthday. Hey, I feel like I'm 18.
Before the race I talked a lot to God and to myself, 'please come something whatever colour'. Looking where I come from, even a top 5 would have satisfied me. Things have only been coming together in the last few weeks. This silver is like a gold to me. I just wanted to bring something to Canada. Hopefully, it will help to boost the team a little bit.
Bronze - Delloreen ENNIS-LONDON, JAM
